Community Service: I regularly provide multimedia presentations of my travels and medical experiences abroad to the local schools including elementary, middle, and high schools. These discussions include the music and artifacts of the area as well as a slide show.

I have been involved with the local chapter of the American Red Cross for fund raising purposes and appeared with them on the radio for Tsunami relief (January 11, 2005).

I have been involved with local church groups for presentations and discussion of religious topics.

Opened "Bronx Bagel," a bagel shop, restaurant, coffee house, deli, and grill, May 21, 1998, in Jasper, Indiana. Soon to come: an Italian restaurant.

Teaching Yoga on weekly basis at Healthpointe, Vincennes University Jasper Campus and the Fitness Factory in Jasper, Indiana since January 1995.

Produced and performed "Yoga for Health," 13 half-hour programs shown weekly on WJTS-TV 27.

"Joshua’s Dream," a screenplay that placed well in a variety of contests, as yet unproduced (1997-1998).

"The Cutting Edge," a book about my travels and work as a surgeon for three years in Asia, with the Ann Elmo literary agency in NYC, as yet unpublished (1995).

The development of a program to bring Ear, Nose and Throat surgeons to developing countries and to arrange for visits of surgeons from abroad in the United States – in progress.

"Dr. Delirium," a screenplay submitted for possible production into a movie, among the top 10 finalists in the 1988 Bay Area Screenplay writing contest, sponsored by the Bay Guardian.
